Terms and conditions

The rules for using this site and working with me.

Last updated: August 2026

These terms apply to karthiknish.com (including www.karthiknish.com) and to freelance work you agree with me, Karthik Nishanth, based in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Using this website

You may read and share pages for personal or internal business use. You may not scrape the site in a way that overloads it, copy the writing or design as your own, or use the contact forms to send spam.

Project write-ups, blog posts, and code samples on this site are mine unless a client or licence is named. Client names and product details appear only where I have permission.

No professional advice

Articles and pages are general commentary on software and product work. They are not legal, financial, or medical advice, and they are not a bid until we agree scope in writing.

Freelance work

Paid work starts when we agree a written scope, fee, and timeline (email is enough). I keep the right to refuse or stop work if the brief is illegal, harmful, or unpaid past the terms we set. Unless a contract says otherwise, you own the deliverables you pay for; I retain the right to show non-confidential work in my portfolio.

Sites and apps depend on third-party platforms, browsers, and hosting. I do not warrant uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose beyond what we write down.

Liability

To the extent UK law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
